Ginny takes to the road when her road blood ripens the day she gets wise to love.

If you could up and go again, where would you head off to? I think I'd go back to New Orleans, across the desert. I have a real fondness for the desert:)

Thanks for sharing and for participating in the giveaway! Good luck:)Laura A. H. We had a great time even if we did have to borrow money from my boyfriend to get back home. Oh the impulsive days of my teen youth. I would love to just up and go again sometime. I'...Thanks for helping to celebrate Winnemucca!

I'll never forget my road trip there. When my kids were little, and I was going crazy, I would say, "One day if you wake up and the car's gone, I'm on the road to Mt. Rushmore." Well, that trip never happened:) So, when my oldest daughter graduated from college and we were kicking back relaxing after the wonderful ceremony at a little weekend getaway, she said, "Mom, you know how you always wanted to go to Mt. Rushmore, but never did? Let's go!" So we did. We left LA hit Gold Country, swung up to Winnemucca, saw a girlfriend in Boise, they told us to go to the Sawtooth mountains, we went to Yellowstone, hit Mt. Rushmore and the Badlands and made a beeline back to LA through Denver, with a stop at the Meteor Crater in Arizona because my daughter had to get back to start work in San Francisco. It was epic. I even made a book about it on Shutterfly.com.

Loving the road trip stories:) Looking forward to reading yours.Laurahttp://www.authorlaura.comnoreply@blogger.com
