Ereader Apps and Free E-books

Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Borders, and ereader.com, all offer free apps for your iphone, mac, pc, blackberry, ipad, and your android.  Not only can you get these apps for free but they all offer lots of free ebooks from classics to newer authors trying to get noticed.  I've read quite a few of these free books and some of them have been better than expected.

Her question is Do you judge a book by it's cover?
My answer:  While I don't judge the story by it's cover, I have wanted to read a book based on it's cover.  I've seen some covers that are so breathtaking that I wanted to read them before I had any idea what the book was about.  There have also been some covers that if I didn't already know what the book was about, I probably wouldn't have picked it up in the first place.  Once I'm reading the book though, the cover ceases to influence me.  I might still love the cover but if the story isn't any good then the cover becomes just that, a pretty book cover.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the hop.
