No one thought an ordinary girl like me would last two minutes living with the Amish, not even me. There are a lot more rules and a lot less freedom, and I miss my family and the life I once had. Worst of all, Noah and I aren’t even allowed to see each other. Not until I’ve proven myself.

My Thoughts
Unfortunately, I haven't quite finished Belonging due to timing issues. However, I am almost done and am liking it so far. At this point in the book I am really rooting for Rose. She has decided to make the ultimate sacrifice and so far has been stronger than I had expected her to be. Still, I wonder if Noah realizes what Rose is giving up for him.
