In My Mailbox (8/13/2011) Mail Time!

In My Mailbox is an amazing weekly meme hosted by Kristi from The Story Siren that features the books we have received during the week. This week I received some great books that I've been drooling after for a while.

Made a trip to the library and picked up a few great looking books.
Devil's Kiss by Sarwat Chadda
and
Desires of the Dead by Kimberly Derting
Bruiser by Neil Shusterman
Blessed by Cynthia Leitch-Smith
Candor by Pam Banchoraz
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

From NetGalley this week:
Eve by Anna Carey

For Review:
I Loved You First by Reena Jacobs

No One to Hear You Scream by Julia Madeleine
(the cover of this one really freaks me out!! I think it is that dirty, nasty hand)

So thank you to NetGalley, authors and publishers and my public library for enabling supplying me with more books!

Waiting on Wednesday

Eve
Author: Anna Carey
Expected Release Date: October 4, 2011
Summary from Goodreads:

The year is 2032, sixteen years after a deadly virus—and the vaccine intended to protect against it—wiped out most of the earth’s population. The night before eighteen-year-old Eve’s graduation from her all-girls school she discovers what really happens to new graduates, and the horrifying fate that awaits her.

Fleeing the only home she’s ever known, Eve sets off on a long, treacherous journey, searching for a place she can survive. Along the way she encounters Caleb, a rough, rebellious boy living in the wild. Separated from men her whole life, Eve has been taught to fear them, but Caleb slowly wins her trust...and her heart. He promises to protect her, but when soldiers begin hunting them, Eve must choose between true love and her life.

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we (bloggers) are anxiously awaiting. I LOVE THIS COVER TOO!!!!! So what book are you excited about right now?
