Teaser Tuesday (12/14/2010) A Dream Of The Past

Miz B and Teaser Tuesdays asks you to:
Grab your current read.
Let the book fall open to a random page.
Share with us two (2) sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
A Dream Of The Past
Author: Lisa Rusczyk

A chill of fear spread down Nakkir's back, for he was sure the assassin was right behind him with a blade about to plunge into his liver.  He looked back and only saw a wall with a painting of the bay.  He shuddered, wishing he hadn't covertly stuck the Paleweed in his mouth on the docks.  It was a relaxing thing to chew, but now his senses would not be sharp enough.

  1. Yikes! Not good to know an assassin is behind you and your senses aren't at their sharpest!
