Teaser Tuesday (7/10/2012) The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight

"Hadley," he repeats with a nod. "That's pretty."
She knows he's only talking about her name, but she's still unaccountably flattered. Maybe it's the accent, or the way he's looking at her with such interest right now, but there's something about him that makes her heart quicken in the way it does when she's surprised.

Teaser from page 32

Summary from Goodreads:

"Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything?"
Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan's life. Having missed her flight, she's stuck at JFK airport and late to her father's second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon-to-be stepmother Hadley's never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport's cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he's British, and he's sitting in her row.
A long night on the plane passes in the blink of an eye, and Hadley and Oliver lose track of each other in the airport chaos upon arrival. Can fate intervene to bring them together once more?
Quirks of timing play out in this romantic and cinematic novel about family connections, second chances, and first loves. Set over a twenty-four-hour-period, Hadley and Oliver's story will make you believe that true love finds you when you're least expecting it.

Released January 2, 2012 by Poppy/Little Brown

Stacking The Shelves 1 (7/8/2012)

Stacking The Shelves is hosted weekly by Tynga's Reviews. Share all the books you've bought and borrowed every week.

This week was supposed to have been a wonderful week of fun, sun and relaxation. My husband was on a much needed vacation, and a friend was staying with us to celebrate her 18th birthday. Sadly, fun wasn't in store for us. Instead, four out of six of us caught a nasty bug and I'm still recovering. I guess every vacation can't be the greatest ever. I did get a few books though.

For Reveiw

Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Confession of an Angry Girl by Louise Rozett

Circle of Silence by Carol M. Tanzman

Freaks Like Us by Susan Vaught

Blink Once by Cylin Busby

Released Today!!!

Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything?

Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan's life. She's stuck at JFK, late to her father's second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon to be step-mother that Hadley's never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport's cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he's British, and he's in seat 18C. Hadley's in 18A.

Twists of fate and quirks of timing play out in this thoughtful novel about family connections, second chances and first loves. Set over a 24-hour-period, Hadley and Oliver's story will make you believe that true love finds you when you're least expecting it.
