After escaping from the clutches of the deadly Iron fey, Meghan must follow through on her promise to return to the equally dangerous Winter Court with her forbidden love, Prince Ash. But first, Meghan has one request: that they visit Puck--Meghan's best friend and servant of her father, King Oberon--who was gravely injured defending Meghan from the Iron Fey.

Yet Meghan and Ash's detour does not go unnoticed. They have caught the attention of an ancient, powerful hunter--a foe that even Ash may not be able to defeat....

I loved this short story! I can't say too much without giving it all away because it IS a short story. I do have to say though that Ash makes me SO mad. SO mad! He really needs to redeem himself in the next book. I definitely would not want to skip this story before reading the next book it was that good. I have a feeling that I am going to be yelling at the next book much more than I did the first. If you haven't read Winter's Passage yet, then get to it. It is SO worth it, even if you have to read it on your computer. Enjoy and let me know if you liked it as much as I did.

I received this short story from NetGalley and received no compensation for my honest opinion.

  1. I read this too. It will definetly fill the void of missing information on the next book The Iron Daughter.

  3. I enjoyed this short story too. I am glad I had the chance to read it. I think it will make the Iron Daughter even better knowing how Ash was between books.

I also think Ash will shock us - he has the most to loose and gain.
