Dear Reader,
Being trapped in a bedroom with a woman is a grand thing. Being trapped in hundreds of bedrooms over two thousand years isn't. And being cursed into a book as a love-slave for eternity can ruin even a Spartan warrior's day.
As a love-slave, I know everything about women. How to touch them, how to savor them, and most of all, how to pleasure them. But when I was summoned to fulfill Grace Alexander's sexual fantasies, I found the first woman in history who saw me as a man with a tormented past. She alone bothered to take me out of the bedroom and onto the world. She taught me to love again.
But I was not born to love. I was cursed to walk eternity alone. As a general, I had long ago accepted my sentence. Yet now I have found Grace--the one thing my wounded heart cannot survive without. Sure, love can heal all wounds, but can it break a two-thousand-year-old curse?
Julian of Macedon

I really enjoyed this great adult romance by Sherrilyn Kenyon.  I had heard a lot about her books and how good they were and I honestly wasn't disappointed.   I loved that Grace treated Julian like a person and not the sex slave that he had been cursed to become.  I loved Grace's best friend Selena, she was so much fun.  Julian was HOT and the romance was steamy, I could have used a few more of those steamy scenes actually. The twists with the gods was fun and had this romance straying a little bit into the paranormal genre.  Whether you normally enjoy paranormal romance or not this book is definitely worth reading.  Enjoy!

  1. Oh snap! Get ready for a serious romp with this series! And, wait until you get to Ash's book! You have a long way to go, but the wait is worth it. Enjoy the Hunters!

  3. This was the book that got me hooked on the D-H series. I loved the way the author made vampires the result of a Greek god's curse.
