Neurotic Thoughts on The Iron Queen (Iron Fey #3)

The Iron Queen
Author: Julie Kagawa
Release Date: January 2011
Publisher: Harlequin Teen
Pages: 358
Target Age: Young Adult
Source: Received by Harlequin through NetGalley
Summary from Goodreads:
My name is Meghan Chase.
I thought it was over. That my time with the fey, the impossible choices I had to make, the sacrifices of those I loved, was behind me. But a storm is approaching, an army of Iron fey that will drag me back, kicking and screaming. Drag me away from the banished prince who's sworn to stand by my side. Drag me into the core of conflict so powerful, I'm not sure anyone can survive it.
This time, there will be no turning back.

My favorite of the series so far!!! I felt like Meghan really grew up in this book. She was strong and determined and stood by her decisions even when they weren't the easiest for her.  Ash finally made me like him, it was so nice that he wasn't threatening to kill Meghan constantly.  Puck made me cry, and not just a little, he made me bawl. Grimalkin was, well... he was SO Grimalkin!  This was one of those books that I couldn't put down. I was thrown for loop after loop and spent the entire book being shocked at where the story went.  Never one to spoil a story I'll just say, if you haven't read this series then what the heck are you waiting for? Go! Go right now and grab you very own copy, you're gonna thank me for this advice one day.

  1. I absolutely loved this series! I agree with you that Meghan did grow a lot in this book. Without spoiling the book for someone else. Puck did make me ball, but Ash won me over :)
