When twenty-one-year-old Leah Carter’s latest one night stand burglarizes her apartment, her roommate forces her to attend therapy for sex addicts. Leah insists she isn’t a sex addict; she just doesn’t do relationships. After all, sooner or later, everyone lets you down.
At first, the group sessions are little more than an education on how to be promiscuous. Until she meets the newest addict—blue eyes, killer body, and a smile that tempts relapse.
Psychology student Will McLean is posing as a fellow addict while researching a case study on unusual addictions. But the more he learns about Leah, the more certain he is that his desire to break through her walls and unearth her secrets has nothing to do with his assignment.
As the uncertainties spike alongside the sexual tension, the only thing Leah knows for sure is that falling in love would be disastrous. Too bad love might be one addiction she can’t kick.
I’m a new adult author with a love for the fantastical and the romantic. My new adult contemporary novel ADDICTED TO YOU will be available June 25.

My Thoughts
Leah has sex to feel something, anything. After growing up with the most emotionally detached and cold parents imaginable she doesn't trust in love so she has given up on the idea that it will ever happen to her. Leah agrees to go to twenty sex addiction counseling sessions to prove to her best friend that she really isn't addicted to sex. During one of the last sessions in walks the sexiest most gorgeous man Leah has ever laid eyes on and then he talks and she's done for when she hears that Scottish accent.
Plot: While I have read another book about a sex addict this one wasn't dark and really it wasn't a story about an addict but about a girl who had to learn how to trust, in herself and someone else.
Characters: While I liked Leah and the way she cares for her little brother made her especially lovable, I absolutely loved Will and his best friend Finn. From Will's professor to Leah's ice queen mother to the cast of sex addicts of group therapy the characters are definitely the best part of this story.
Writing: Written from both Leah and Will's point of views but in the 3rd person I wasn't sure that I was going to like this writing style from the beginning but I ended up not noticing it for the most part and was able to enjoy the story.
Ending: A perfectly happy if not slightly predictable ending. Was super happy to see that Finn's story will be told next and I will for sure be picking that one up.
Content: The sexual tension builds and builds between Will and Leah and it was.....great! Yes folks this is a new adult novel about sex addicts and that means yes, SEX does happen.
Overall: A great cast of characters and a story that made me laugh out loud. I recommend!
Yay glad you liked it, Shari! It sounds like super refreshing read and sometimes a happy ending - predictable or not - can be a good change. I find so many end in a cliffhanger or guts you completely! Awesome review!
