What's In Store For April?

April is already looking like it will be a crazy month for me. I've limited the number of tours I will be participating in, and I am gearing up for a lot of craziness. With Easter, multiple birthdays, four nights of the homeschool play that my daughter is performing in, plus getting the kids ready for their end of the year homeschooling tests. So with all that in mind I am still going to try to get at least a few books read and reviewed.
Upcoming Tours:

Rise From Darkness
by Ciara Knight
Arriving here on April 5, 2012
Alexander Lorre gives new meaning to the term “tormented teen”. He’s a newly fallen angel, which means he has the self-control of a three-year-old, the hormones of a teenager and the strength of an angel. When he rescues Gaby Moore from drowning, the chemistry between them is undeniable. With a local demon threatening Gaby’s life, he struggles to find a balance between remaining close enough to protect her but distant enough to control his desires.

As danger draws closer, Gaby uncovers shattering secrets that will lead to an ultimate choice. Will she fight alongside her father, an earthbound hunter killing fallen angels and demons, give into the demon blood coursing through her veins and join the demon world, or save the man she loves from both? The first two choices damn her, but the last one could destroy them all.

Night Sky
By Jolene Perry
Arriving here on April 12, 2012
Girl I’ve loved, girl I’m falling for. Now that they’re both in view, the problem is clear.

After losing Sarah, the friend he’s loved, to some other guy, Jameson meets Sky. Her Native American roots, fluid movements, and need for brutal honesty become addictive fast. This is good. Jameson needs distraction – his dad leaves for another woman, his mom’s walking around like a zombie, and Sarah’s new boyfriend can’t keep his hands off of her.

As he spends time with Sky and learns about her village, her totems, and her friends with drums - she's way more than distraction. Jameson's falling for her fast.

But Sky’s need for honesty somehow doesn’t extend to her life story – and Jameson just may need more than his new girl to keep him distracted from the disaster of his senior year.

Going Under
By Georgia Cates
Arriving here on April 20, 2012
Jessie Boone is a self proclaimed bad boy and doesn’t march to the beat of anyone’s drum, but his own. Growing up in less than desirable circumstances has made him no stranger to the hard knock life and his determination to leave it behind is fierce. When he finds himself transferred to East Franklin High School, he sees his opportunity to use his athletic ability to snag a college football scholarship, but Forbes Henderson, the player Jessie means to replace isn’t giving up his spot willingly. In fact, Forbes is willing to go to extreme measures to retain his place as first string quarterback. When Forbes’ malicious plan to injure his replacement fails, Jessie is furious and determined to show him he messed with the wrong person; not only is he going to take the position of first string quarterback, he’s going to take his girl, too.

Claire Deveraux is perfection at it’s best. She is beautiful, intelligent and unaware she just became Jessie Boone’s conquest as revenge against her boyfriend, Forbes Henderson. Like her flawless performance as the perfect daughter and student, Claire’s production of being the perfect girlfriend has everyone fooled, except Jessie Boone, and she fears this tattooed bad boy will see her secret desire to explore his crude threats and promises to rock her perfect world. If she decides to give in to one uninhibited moment with Jessie, will she learn too late that it was all an act of vengeance or will Jessie learn the taste of first love is sweeter than that of revenge?

Books I hope to get to read before the end of the month:
Gone, Gone, Gone by Hannah Moskowitz
Spellbound by Rachel Hawkins
Transcendence by C.J. Omololu
Shooting Stars by Allison Rushby
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews
Grave Mercy by Robin La Fevers

Wow! That is a lot of books for the month I've got ahead of me. I may be over-reaching but I'm going to do my best. So what have you got planned for April?
By the way I found this post by Book'd Out to be very interesting, you should check it out.  http://bookdout.wordpress.com/2012/04/01/stuff-on-sundays-style-versus-substance/
Have a great month!
